The haters better had gotten their laughs in early, because right now the only laughter surrounding Heat-land is coming from inside the locker room. Nineteen wins in their last 20 games, and they look more and more like a real team every night.
The real reason for this post, however, is an excuse to bring up a text conversation between my mom and my brother, in which my mom was answering my brother’s (who lives in Colorado) question as to who won last night’s game. My mom answered “Miami”, followed by some guy by the name of “Leroy Brown” who led the way.
I guess The King isn’t as much of a household name as we think, especially in certain parts of the greater Miami metro area.
